Come and say hi!

As we get ever closer to our Dare to be Different day during World Autism Awareness Week, we are doing lots of activity in the local area to raise awareness of all the wonderful work that we do.

We were at the Just Say parent & carer forum at the Ripple Centre in Barking yesterday (27th February) and we will be promoting our services throughout the lunchtime period next week at King George's Hospital in Goodmayes on Thursday 7th March and Queens Hospital in Romford on Friday 8th March.  Don't leave us sitting there talking to each other – if you're in the area, please pay is a visit; we'll have plenty of information about our current services and activities.

Book now for Kidspace on Sunday week!

We're taking bookings for the next Kidspace session in Romford which is on Sunday week 10th March.  It's a great morning with plenty of soft play activities and we have ten places available for Sycamore Trust UK members under 12.  The indoor play sessions are between 9am and 11am and places must be booked in advance, so please give us a call before next Friday 8th at 10am to get your place for the following Sunday.  Children on the spectrum and carers go free! Sycamore Trust members can call 020 8517 9317 to reserve place(s).

Marathon Man!

Hats off to Andrew Ghagan who is running the London Marathon this April to raise funds for the Sycamore Trust.  Andrew's nephew Rico was among the first intake of children on the SWAP project last September and Uncle Andrew wanted to thank us for all the help we were able to offer Rico by running the Marathon and he needs your support!  He has set himself a target of £1,000 and he's almost halfway there!  Help him get a bit closer by clicking here: http://www.sycamoretrust.org.uk/latest/article/Marathon-man%21
